Tire rub ?

And yes I have searched, duh, can't find the answer yet, so I come here on a stupid ?:sorry:

With me having a 3" ome lift and lr uca's, I have stock 17" rims that I intend to put cooper sst lt265/70/17 on them. Will I have any rubbing issues going straight/ full turn. If so,how thin of a wheel spacer can I use, don't really wish to push out to far. TIA, and let the blasting start.

Ya honestly I rubbed with my 1.25s spidies with but only @ full lock or turning over curb or dip & turning doing mild 4wheeling , would rather see you move plastic cover around a bit & go from there , make sense ? But Lenny @ Motorsport does spacers as ordered so might be able to talk with him about it ? Also I trimmed the crap outta mine after 275s

Actually, I am more concerned with if they will hit/ rub on the uca's. Me having the 30.5 on now and about 3/4" from the uca going forward. Changing to 32" looks like it would come pretty close. Haven't really seen at full lock or flex yet. Not to stress about anywhere else really, cut out most of the wheel well when bumper went on. Don't think the mud flap or body mount will be an issue that I can change or modify. Besides, I will be finding 32" street tires when the 30.5's wear out on my 16" rim presently on rig.

You know my 275s don't , now they might be rubbing on body mount but only at full lock & I try not to do that . Wondering if you went smaller up front (spacers that is ) & a little wider in back to get square look/ride ?

I'm bone stock running 265-70/17 Duratracs and have no rubbing on metal. On full left lock, I get a little on the engine splash shield that mounts behind the shock, but that's it. The Duratracs have huge lugs on the sidewall, which would contribute to that. The STTs have a decent sized lug, but I wouldn't be too worried, especially after a lift. You may not even need wheel spacers. That being said, every truck is different.

I don't have spacers, that's what I'm trying to see if I would need them or not.

Noticed how you have different sizes to even the appearance up. I'm just taking things one thing at a time. Tire size w/ no rub first.

And that jab at you wasn't to be taken personal, just j/k ing with ya, and letting you know I can take it as well as dish it. Old enough I can laugh and admit at my own f/ups.

You probably wont. More than likely, they will actually make the rubbing on the fender liner up front and the mudguard at the rear worse.
