I am in the process of purchasing a new set of tires for my 2004 Limited 4R 4.7 liter V8. I have Michelin Cross Terrain 110S rated and looking for something with a nice quiet ride. I don't do any offroading and am looking for and all season $50K/yr tire. I am looking at replacing them with Bridgestone Dueler's. Any thoughts on this tire? Any other recommendations? I see a lot of people on here really like the Toyo's, Dunlops and BFG's. I can get a great deal on a set of 4 Dueler's P265/65/R17 at Firestone for under $700. Thanks!

You're looking for an all season tire but all the ones you mentioned are all-terrain tires. What exactly are you looking for?
I think the Cooper Discoverer AT3 is probably your tire. 65,000 mile warranty, rolls smooth and works great in rain and snow and mud, made in USA, inexpensive to purchase, and is currently the #1 tire in the market according to Consumer Reports.
Try discounttiredirect.com because you can saving a lot of money ordering from them. Then just take them to your local Walmart to get them mounted and balanced for $50 bucks.

In general, the more aggressive the tread, the more noise. If noise is your top priority, you probably don't want an all-terrain (A/T) which might seem obvious since you explicitly said you want an all-season, but tire types can be confusing and they get mixed up all the time. For instance, the BFGs you mentioned would be an unbelievably bad match based on what you wrote, yet they were recommended just a few days ago in another thread to a poster whose tire parameters were similar to yours. That kind of stuff happens all the time.
Michelins typically deliver the longest tread life but you pay for it. You might want to just get a name brand all-season that you can get the best deal on. Even if it doesn't happen to last as long as another tire, I assume that what you really care about is cost per mile. Tires get much more similar to each other in the tread life they deliver when judged on that basis. There's nothing ambiguous about the savings you put straight into your pocket.
If quiet and milage warranty are top concerns I would also look at the Nitto CrossTek. It is an all weather tire designed for SUV's that are street driven. Allows for a quiet ride and a 50-60k milage warranty. But they have a sidewall that looks more fit for a truck than a Michelin cross terrain.

Third-Ed. I have these and they are great street tires. I'm looking to sell mine if you're interested.
They're silent on the road. My dad had a set that lasted to 110k and my last set lasted to nearly 90k.

zopperman...What size are the tires you are selling, how much tread is left and what do you want for them? I looked at getting a set of the Michelin LTX M/S2's but they were a lot more money ($50/tire). I don't know much about the Toyo or Nitto and they are not very accessible around here. May check out the Cooper's. Kumho's are junk, at least they were on the Hyundai Sonata I bought in 2011. Tires didn't even make it 20K miles.
The Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza is the tire I was thinking of replacing the Michelin Cross Terrain's with. It is an all season, not all terrain tire from what their website says. Anyone have these tires? Looks like a nice looking/riding tire.

I agree the Cooper AT3 are EXCELLENT tires. I have a set..but they are NOT extremely quiet. The OP said he wanted a quiet tire. That's NOT the AT3.
Since no off-roading.....try the Cooper Discovery HT. Good all around tire. Very quiet. Decent in snow...and light off-roading.

I meant the Michelin LTX M/S2 is $50 more a tire than the Bridgestone Dueler Alenza I was looking at brand new. I think I may just go to NTB and purchase the Michelin LTX M/S2's. They have 12 months no interest and a $50 rebate with a set of 4 and will price match. I can find the lowest price at $221/tire at Sam's club.

I think I posted about this somewhere else about a month ago, but I got them at Discount Tire. Could have gotten them at Costco with $70 off the set, but DT beat the Costco price (by about a buck) and gave me the $70 off right at the register per my request; none of that rebate stuff.
BTW, Michelin just announced a recall on these tires. Based on the manufactured week and year stamped on the sidewall (the side of the tire with the white letters). For those in the market, you want to avoid:
P265/65R18 tires with production codes 0513 to 2113;
P265/60R18 with codes 1513 to 2113; and
P275/55R20 with codes 3812 to 2113.
The recall notice states, "These recalled tires could have partial or full sidewall perforations that could cause them to experience loss of air pressure. This condition may increase the risk of tire failure and a vehicle crash."
The tires DT sold me on July 1 were not included in the recall.
