I am in the process of purchasing a new set of tires for my 2004 Limited 4R 4.7 liter V8. I have Michelin Cross Terrain 110S rated and looking for something with a nice quiet ride. I don't do any offroading and am looking for and all season $50K/yr tire. I am looking at replacing them with Bridgestone Dueler's. Any thoughts on this tire? Any other recommendations? I see a lot of people on here really like the Toyo's, Dunlops and BFG's. I can get a great deal on a set of 4 Dueler's P265/65/R17 at Firestone for under $700. Thanks!

In this thread I hoped read something about how well a tire holds a balance initially and over the long-term. I've read Michelins balance well and that's another important measure. My '10 Tundra came factory with 255/70/18 Michelins and are vibration-free up to and at suspended-license speeds.

Tire Follow up

I went ahead and purchased the Michelin LTX M/S2's and love them. I have 7,000 miles on them and just had them rotated. I was able to get them for about $130/tire including lifetime mounting/balancing with 12 months no interest. The ride is very smooth and quiet. I had them for the entire winter and handled great on snow/wet roads. I highly recommend this tire to anyone that wants a quiet/smooth all season tire. I do have one question. Since this is a "P" tire P265/65R17 rated at max load of 2,337lbs/tire at max 44psi, can I pull a travel trailer with this tire or do I need to go with a stiffer sidewall like the A/T tire? The trailer weighs about 4,400lbs dry weight with a 7,000lbs max.
