Tire size fitment question

Hi all I'm new to this forum and originally came from a first gen runner. I now have a 3rd gen and was wondering if 265/75/16 tires would fit without issue on a stock ride height runner. It currenty has 265/70/16, and I don't want to lift it as I use it as a second vehicle and put kids in it. Any input would be appreciated.

265/75's will fit perfect on a stock height runner. I just installed some 265/75 kuhmo AT's on my stock runner. They fit good.

Not totally true...they will fit but depending on your model year you may get rubbing when turning. I have an 01' and before my lift I put on 265/75/16's and got moderate rubbing when turning into a driveway with an average slope...it's easy trimming of the plastic and possibly a tiny bit of pounding grinding of the pinch weld.

Ya the only time my truck would rub with those size tires was when I would be pulling into a steep driveway with a steep incline at the beginning of the driveway. Otherwise you will have no problems.
Although I really think it also has to do with how aggressive the tire tread is. The more A/T and mud tires will hit over a Hoghway tire. I just bought General Grabbers HST's and they are not as think treaded as the Bridgestone Revos I had before. I also went with a 275/65/70 this time.

I do have the slightly taller coils but you should have minimal if any rubbing on the '96-'00 models but "01+ may see a little.
