Biggest tires w/o rubbing and leveling kit: 265/65/17's (31's), stock size. The next size up is 265/70/17 (32's) but they will rub a little. Its an easy fix by moving back your wheel well liner or trimming some plastic. A leveling kit could eliminate the rubbing but might not. A set of spidertrax wheel spacers would fix the rubbing issue and give your 4R a wider more aggressive stance. Check out Toytecs topout spacer or Daystars budget boost for a leveling kit. Here's olsen karl's link. He squeezed in 255/75/17 with bilstein adjustable front shocks set at a .085 lift.
I have a 05v6 and did the same shocks and setting. Using my original coils with 100k miles the front did lift but also the back. I was hoping for a level stance but the front is still one inch lower as measured from the bottom of the running boards.
I will be conservative with my future tire upsize with the 255/70/17 which is not as tall as the 255/75/17. They will be 0.4 inch slimmer and 0.5 inch taller than my original 265/65/17s. Whereas the 255/75/17s. would be 1.5 inchs taller than the originals.
