Tire size selection for mild lift with factory 18s

I'm running 265/70/18s on mine, and you'll need 2.5"-3" lift and trimming to fit them.

Also, P and C ratings are not the same. I run P rated since I spend little time off road. I get better mpg and a smoother ride. From a capacity perspective, P rated tires are all you need. I've ran E rated tires and you can definitely feel them (added weight and stiffer ride). For someone who spends a lot of time off road, the other ratings make sense.

P rated = 4 plys
C rated = 6 plys
D rated = 8 plys
E rated = 10 plys

I'm in the process of deciding 255/70/18 or 265/70/18. The latter is about $400 cheaper. With my 5100s set at 0.85, FJ coils, and Spidertrax, I will only realistically fit the 255s with trimming? No shot at 265?

with spidertrax and fj/tacoma coils on .85 i had to move the fender liner and trim the bumper as shown above. im not saying it cant be made to fit but it will take a bit more cutting to make it fit
