Tire size

Hey folks, new here and am looking for your expertise. I have a 4th gen sport that I am going to put new tires in and want to up size. I am being told that 265/70/17 is as tall as I can go without tire rub but wanted to confirm that. Thanks!

It is dependent on the tire you go with as well as what if any lift you run. If no lift then yes that is about all you are going to get in it. Check out the sticky on 4th gen suspension options. It will list the tire sizes you can go with based on stock and lift. The info there is solid
