tire size?

32" tire fitment?

I'm wondering if i can fit 32x10.5x15 on my 1990 2 door, or if i do am going to have clearance issues. and if so, would spacers help? anyone with experience please chime in. theyre the new bfg all terrain KO2.

i was going to just go with 31x10.5x15 bfg all terrains, but costco said there discontinued(or atleast in 15" wheels) so I'm thinking of sizing up because i didn't really like the rugged terrains all that much. here's a pic to show you what I'm working with. thanks guys.

Just to let you know I have 31x10.5/15 General Grabber at2's on my 2000 with stock suspension and no rubbing, but I really don't know if the clearance is the same. Is your rim size a 15x7? Clean truck though! I love it.
 
Those appear to be American Racing AR-52 Gambler wheels. I had the same wheels on a '93 SR5 4wd Extra Cab pick-up. With stock suspension, I ran BFG A/T 32x11.50R 15 tires, without any clearance issues.

The great thing about those wheels, (in addition to the looks, IMO) is that they have the correct offset so you aren't placing unequal loads on the wheel bearings.

IIRC, your 4Runner and the 4wd truck of that era, could run the same size tires, on stock suspension.

in response to the above post. i know these look like the AR gamblers, but these are actually stock wheels from toyota that came with the car. they were factory upgrades the original owner bought the truck with. and i think and theyre 15x7, so I'm pretty sure they don't have the same offset as the AR wheels because theyre stock. so thats why I'm thinking i may need spacers. however, the guy at costco gave me a readout that measured the percentage of how much larger the 32x11.5s are than the michelins 31x10.5 that are on it now. the measurement was 3.35% larger. with little difference is making me wonder it that would warrant needing them.

i didn't even know those wheels were an option from the factory and I've never seen them on another 4runner. if anyone else has seen these on one that are stock wheels let me know. I've only always seen the twin 4 spoke wheels that are on most runners. thanks guys
 
Look on the backside of the wheel for info on the wheel. I doubt they were a Factory option. As I never saw that wheel as a Factory option during that time frame. I was working at a Toyota dealer, then. Most likely they were a Dealership installed option. AKA an ADP (Additional Dealer Profit) option.

My '93 SR5 Truck came with the standard SR5 alloy wheels. I installed the AR-52 Gamblers, because they were a better size for the tires I wanted to run.
 
ok gotcha, that makes sense. i was just relaying the info the previous owner told me which was nothing was changed on the car since it was purchased brand new. they do appear to be similar to stock offset though because atleast to my eye they don't seem to stick out any further from sr5 wheels.

They will fit. might rub when off road. I was running 33x10.5 in the front and 33x12.5 in the back of my runner before the lift. i actually ended up with clearance issues on the upper control arm after i out my lift on. It was easily fixed by getting different rims or wheel spacers. Almost forgot i also nipped the back corners of my front fenders as well. they rubbed slightly when i was out wheeling. this is the only pic i have with the 33's before the lift was on

Thanks buddy i thought it was kinda cool they are almost exactly the same. if you like that one check out this one with the lift and her "weekend shoes" on

holy smokes that looks mean! very sweet i like it. I'm going to get the 32s put on today so ill get post what it looks like when I'm done.
 
ok i got them on, but it was too dark for pics so it'll have to wait until tomorrow. so far so good, looks awesome and no rubbing at all yet.

but now i have another problem..i need atleast one more matching wheel but hopefully 2 since theres 2 spares on it. anyone know where i could find those ar 52 gamblers someone said they are in an above post? i would even settle for 1 or 2 sr5 wheels in decent condition. thanks again fellas.

If the tires didn't have like a 10" offset it would have been better. I did end up breaking a cv. It think that was due to the drivers tire got wedged against the side of a trail and the passenger tire hooked my bumper so it got locked in the front. I couldnt turn out it sucked. It was a good thing my buddy was able to turn aroung and pull me back so i could turn the wheels straight. I dont think im going to buy them from my neighbor. He has another set of procomp 35's im going to try and buy from him. If not ill buy them and not run them untill my sas is done. they rubbed from being so wide and having such a fat offset on the wheels. my body lift will fix that though.
