Tire suggestions for 08 4runner SE?

Any suggestions for new set of tires from your past experience? Live in the Northwest with a lot of rain and some snow in the winter. Mainly city & freeway driving, and weekends on some gravel - dirt roads. My only comparison is from BFG and OE tires but wanted to know what's available other than BFG Rugged Terrain (didn't like OE tires). And prefer the white lettering sidewall. Seeking to keep everything within $800 total including mounting/balancing/TPMS. Any good suggestions out there?

My previous 4Runner had the Cooper Discoverer AT3s and they were excellent in the rain and most say excellent in snow (especially if you don't have regular heavy snow fall).

Plus they're pretty affordable

Cooper Discoverer AT3

Thanks for your input Tim. I noticed there's a lot of good things said about the Cooper Discoverer AT3. I'm basically narrowed down to these Cooper AT3, BFG Rugged Terrain, and Bridgestone Revo. They all seem to do well in rain & prices are about the same(Cooper being the cheapest), but hearing various comments how quiet they run. Understand it's A/T tire so I'm willing accept some noise, but it looks like the traction & wear are also about the same and quietness is always tough to compare. Thanks again.

According to the tire shop I go to, they were recommending the Pathfinder Sport S A/T, plus they're pretty cheap to boot. I ended up just going w/ the BFG All Terrain T/A KOs. I've also had the Bridgestone Revo 2s before and the Yokos Geolander A/T-S before that. Both tires were very good when it comes to wet roads and didn't have any problems in light snow.
