Tire Suggestions for SR5

I did a search and could not find anything that addressed the happy medium. I am looking to swap out my stock tires for something just a little more aggressive and a little bigger. I ordered the Toytec leveling spacers and want to fill the gap without destroying the ride. <insert flame here> I love the look of Tflow's but cant quite go that route...any suggestions as to what I could throw on that will look and perform better than the Bstones that I need to replace because the dealer refuses to acknowledge them as defective??

not sure i understand your meaning exactly, but if you're just doing a front spacer to level it out i don't think you're going to fit 285s like that...

I am just doing the spacer to level out but also have to replace the tires on the SR5 rims. I know I cant have what I want (the link to the pic) but I am looking to replace the stock with something just a little more aggressive and bigger than the stock bstones...

The biggest you can get, thanks to Harper7, with the level with no rub is 275/70-17. Its a little bigger and you get get BFGs AT for the little more aggressive.

Thanks I was leaning towards the BF's...I also like these Goodyears. Anyone out there ever have any luck with them>

i had MTRs (non-Kevlar) on my '93... loved 'em. note that they are really aggressive.

They look it...I love them but this is my DD and I travel quite a bit. My biggest concern is the sound as most of the time I am on the road I am also on the phone...blutetooth of course

Acutally I could prob. swap the vent guards for tires and have the same noise level over stock...the in channels are ridiculously loud!!!!

I have a vehicle with BFG MTs and another with ATs. Both have performed well on-road, off-road and in snow/ice. I have over 50,000 on the ATs and plenty of tread. MTs have about 40,000 and lots of life. They ARE louder but not so much that I wouldn't have them again. I highly recommend either.

When I have to replace them, I'd probably buy the BFG ATs unless I really needed the heavier tread. They are a little lower key, little quieter and long wearing. I put them on my wife's SUV and she is asking me to put them on the 4Runner when we need tires.

Thanks for the input. I really want the aggressive tire but think the the BF's are prob the best compromise. Maybe my best bet is to go aggressive and buy something like a Camry one last thing b4 I make my decision...it says the BF's arent "rated" for heavy snow, how are they in roughly 12"?

Both the ATs and the MTs have been great through Chicago winters. I drove my Jeep with MTs last Christmas after an 18" storm in northern Iowa and it was awesome. Drove in 4 High like nothing. I used the ATs off road and was really impressed.
