Tire/Wheel combo, will this work?

I have a 2001 4x4, I replaced the stock rims with FJ Cruiser TRD ones. I'm not sure of the specific dimensions of the stockers, but I know the FJ cruiser ones are 7.5 inches wide.

I was running the stock 265/70's but now I'm looking into getting some 255/85 Duratracs once I get my lift on.

My question is, will the Duratracs fit the FJ cruiser wheels because they're so skinny? I've searched around but couldn't find anything that would help me out. Thanks for the help guys.

I don't think Duratracs come in 255/85 and that size will fit the rims no problem.
Yep, that's my bad I meant KM2's. I was just a little worried because the FJ wheels seemed wider than my OEM ones, and I know that the tires are very narrow. You're 100% sure?

100% sure the FJ rims will work. Plenty of people are running that size tire on 8" wide wheels, so you're fine with the 7.5".

exactly what I was going to say about them fitting an 8" wide wheel. Most tire websites have a chart that tells you an accepted rim width range.

I also have these rims. If I ran them with 285s would there be much or any rub on the UCAs? I think the back spacing is 4.5'' but I haven't been able to find anything on the offset
