Tires and lighting questions for all!!!

I haven't been on here for a while as my T4R hasn't seen any mods recently. I am currently running 265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers and have about 50k on them. My driving is mostly highway with occasional trips to cold climates with snow and also quite a few trips to the dunes when it isn't 176 degrees in Yuma. I have been known to go out into the desert randomly to shoot guns and ride quads as well. These things being said, I would appreciate some opinions on tires and your experiences with them. Lots of guys on here like the BFG AT and the Duratrac. I have had BFG MT and also a set of AT's on my old jeep. Happy with both but don't want mudders on the 4Runner. I like the look of the Nitto trail grapplers...kind of a cross tire MT/AT. I tow a 16ft flatbed trailer to the dunes with 3 quads and lots of camping gear. Don't know if that makes a difference with the Duratrac due to sidewall slosh.

Next topic: Lighting

I have been thinking about getting some Rigid Duallys just like someone else on here installed on their ride. I love the look and can see the practicality of installing them on the front lower bumper. I have also been thinking about putting 2 of them in the back as well. This would make things quite easy loading and unloading the trailer at the dunes in the dark. I am also interested in the 10" single row light by rigid to install in between the 2 duallys up front. Has anyone done this before? I think that i could light up the entire dunes with a set up of this nature. Another set of lights just for show would be the dancing rock lights underneath. Im pretty sure its overkill but if im doing the other ones i would definately get the rock lights just to top everything off. It would look like a ufo coming into the dunes at night!!!

This is a 800 Lumen flashlight!!! Rechargeable. I thought my maglight was bright at 150 lumens. This would start a fire I believe.

As far as I know they don't make the T/A KM1 you have pictured anymore. Some places still sell them as back stock though. The mud terrain that replaced them is the T/A KM2 and I've ran them before in the 255/85/16 flavor and they were awesome. Great on road handling for a mud tire and quiet for the first 50% tread life. Hook up to nearly everything off road, especially when aired down. Returned 40,000 miles on heavy abuse on a 2500HD pulling trailers for years and mud bogging on the weekends.

But you said you didn't want a mud tire so I'm not sure why you included both the T/A KM1 and Trail Grappler since they're both mud terrain tires.

I just included those since I made reference to them in the original posting. Thanks for letting me know on the wrong tire picture for the BFG MT. I corrected it. I am not sure why they had both on the website I just clicked on the first MT I came across. I am not 100% against the BFG MT but I am 100% against the Nitto Mud Grappler. Those tires POUND the road. I can hear the big trucks with those tires on them coming from a mile away. I think I would lose to much of the toyota ride and get more of a tank ride with those tires.

These tires are badass though for a Jeep or massive truck that can turn such a gnarly tire!!!
