tires for my new wheels

i drive 97 t4r v6 4wd just got some new wheels 16x9.i dont know what kind/ size tire to go with.i drive mostly highway but i want to do littlebit offroad . see you guy could help me select the tire.Thank you !!!

I have been more than happy with my Firestone Destination A/T's 265/75/16. Great off road traction as well as on road manners. 20k miles in the past 10 months and they are holding up really well.

I think this is a loaded question. But, I am going to chime in and say I love my BFG A/T's plus they look great!!!

Dakota Definity 265/75/16 A/T from pepboys. they are made buy cooper tire.

$88 each (BFG wannabees at half the price!!!!)

for a 16x9 you need at 275 tire probablly.. nothing wrong going with a 10.5 inch tire but id like to have 2 inchs on my rims if possible

thanks guy!! i want to find out if i go with 285 75 16 did i have to go with any lift kit do i have any problem.i like bigger tire i think is better looking. if anybody have same setup could you post pic i want see how it look.

285/75s will rub with no lift;I think that would require at least two inches.

i have to agree on this, they ride great for what they are and they handle good as well, i cant wait until winter and snow to see what happens, i bought them in febuary and it never snowed again.

i also hear good things about dunlop revo's too.

you could go with the bfg mud-terrain but those have alot of road noise and i beleive wear quick too.
