Tires or truck ??

My VSC or Atrac must kick in with some slight back wheel spin . We got a little bit of snow here and I noticed the it kicking in alot . I am running stock BS Duellers HL's spin with little acc . Its not practical to put in 4x4Hi since it's just patchy stuff.

I want to replace tires right now . Will this help my rear wheel traction ???

I want to go to an AT tire . I do drive a little rough spots ect.
Places I have been looking recommended .

Michelin LTX AT2's
BFG AT/KO's (have had about 15 sets over the years)
GYSA's
Nitto TG
Firestone AT's
Revo's AT ( had 2 sets of them on my 06)
And a few others I cant remember since it's 3:03 am ...lol

Driving is conservative on road ( rain , snow , ice , hard pack snow )
Off road is fire trails , some rocky terrain , mud , sand also dry to .

Give me thoughts / opinions please . Ive read reviews on TR and they are just as confusing .

I have never had a problem with my BFG AT's. I have a set on order for my TE, I plan on going up to the mountains a bit.

I vote it's the tires. My TC does kick in quite a bit, but if I am relatively easy on the gas it doesn't. If just driving down the road it never goes off.

I do think it is a little overreacting though.

Yeah my guess would be tires as well.

Although I have no experience with this tire, I planned on going with the Falken WildPeak A/T when I upgrade...might be worth at least doing a little research. I've only read good things about them so far.

I think it it tends to kick in more then it does on a 4th gen has been my experiance. However with better tires it doesn't seem to kick in as much but still alittle annoying. As for tires I have had good luck with Terra Grapplers they ride good balance easily unlike BFG's My tire guy had to spin 2 of my new BFG's and add 8oz to one of the rims to get it to balance lol but they are a heavy ply in BFG's defense. I have heard good things about those Michelin's though. Also in my opinion you could run a P rated tire to retain a comfy ride if you aren't going to be doing alot of wheeling in real jagged rocky areas. I actually cut a sidewall on my Terra grappler on my old 4runner we have alot of sharp slate out here in SD so depends on your area. Hope this helps.
