I've been running Firestone Dueler AT's on our Tundra and they are rather quiet. Our 4Runner isn't ready for new tires yet - still running the original highway tires.

If you want good aggressive tires look at Duratracs, KO2s or Cooper ST Maxx

I went with Falken MT01 tires. Good ride with not much road noise compared to other Mud terrains I have sat in.

I basically searched for a while on this and have made my mind up on Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Reviews are great and have high ratings for quietness. I mean i dont expect it to be like an all season tire but supposedly pretty good for a hybrid tire

my BFG KO2s 275/70/17 have been nothing but good to me. Put 5k miles on them already. 75% on road 25% off and they've held up.

what do you plan to do with your rig/tires?

Minor off roading but mainly pavement.

265 Duratracs here! Will be switching to 275 BFG KO2s in the future due to more highway driving and it being my DD.

I'd say stick with AT tires vs MT. It'll save you money, last longer, and a lot quieter on the road.

take a look at BFG Ko2 or Toyo Open country AT2.

Lots of fans of different tires and treads on here. It’ll come down to your usage and budget, as well as looks. I love my KO2’s; relatively quiet, very functional off-road and in snow. And, I think they look good - at the mall and in the mud. I’ve heard and seen many positive reviews for all the other brands and AT/MT you could imagine.
