Got my tjm15 on.. damn tow hook bolts were so tough we have to take the 4runner,, without the bumper on to a muffler shop to get use of a 700psi gun.. hence I said I drove my car without the bumper.. and you can see down below what that looks like lol.. we got some looks when we drove.

i got the bumper from Jason B at burtmanindustiries.com

a friend on yotatech. localmotion aka Matt was in Greenville and helped me get the bumper off.. the tjm was installed today in 15 minutes flat!!! just took 4 hours to get the damn bumper off.

old brushguard,, a guy at work I work with has a stock 02 so im gonna let h im have it... this brushguard was sold to me by jev2022 and he was awesome with everything, has been good to me just need something beefier

nice! I like the look and I am sure it's much tougher than the stock!

Could you tell me what's the weight different compare with the stock bumper? Do you notice any different when you drive since it is heavier?
 
well its considerable between stock bumper weight and this weight

on the other hand.. i had a brushguard on.. both the brushguard and bumper weighed more then this new bumper here.. cuz the brushguard was about 62 pounds.. stock bumper about 25.. this bumper I think is about 80

i dont notice a diff at all in driving habits
 
hey man, nice job, looks good against the silver. i was wondering if you could take a picture of the bottom of it, i need to know if i could use my current skid plate if for some reason or another i ever switched to the TJM bumper.

i hear you are getting a lift, sliders and a locker, did i hear wrong? any plans for a winch?

your skid plate should be just fine, it doesnt interfere with that area at all.
 
yeah slider, locker, lift I have except my front spacers havent come in yet. but everything else I have in my hands.

but I can take a pic of the bottom if you want.

gonna take some more pics today

my skid attaches to my ARB, on the bottom part, right below the fairlead. still think it wont interfere? i really like these TJM's but am not running out to get a new skid plate built for one...
 
thats odd that it attaches to your ARB. is it a custom skid??

Also if you have the ARB, stick with it... if i were you I'd spend the money on other things.

as far as tjms, they come with brackets which attach to your factory brackets, then they also connect at the tow hook and the same location on the other side... my skid attaches separately in the stock location.
 
yeah its a custom skid, the only reason i was going to replace it is ibecause my truck is abt to go into the shop for some body work, and i need new mounts for the bumper anyways, and one of my buddys with a taco just got into a wreck and wants my bumper, but it seems like too much work, and after looking at the tjm more closely, im kinda glad i have the arb that isnt made for my truck, lol.... locker and sliders, here i come
 
thanks man!! i just put some hella 500s on it but not wired up yet.. most likely will do that next friday when I meet everybody for the Tellico run from yotatech

ill def post new thread up with locker/lift/sliders installed for everybody
 
bumper itself? 675 + shipping.. had it shipped to circuitcity where I work since it cost me 20 bucks less if i were to have shipped to my house.

worth my money def.. got it from Jason B
