To clear corner or not to clear corner?

Im debating this minor modification. I have heard various reviews of neondials on this forum. Opinions on going to clear corners and bumper lights?

I personally think its tacky; i know some states have laws restricting their use. I like my corners get some amber bulbs in there and it'll look really good

personal preference. i think it looks good or bad depending on which rig its on

agreed, yours and clemson's look great. i think with mine the stock is going to suit it best.

Go for it and use a nece set of amber LEDs and at night they will look better than OEM nthe clear signals finish the look nicely.

Mine on the left are clear with amber bulb. (I have since upgraded to some bright white LEDs though). The center runner has regular corners with amber bulbs, and the one on the right has tinted corners (I think he only has his lights on in the 2rd pic).

I personally think it looks cheap. If I were going to do anything id tint them.

I think this 'mod' is the least interesting, and most insignificant thing out there for 4Runners, and ranks right up there with the TRD oil cap. My money can do better things. But hey, whatever floats ya boat...

For ~$30 you're not really taking a huge dent out of your wallet...

Plus it does change the look alittle more so than a TRD oil cap and it's a very cheap mod.

You are if you don't care if they are clear or not. That's a tank of gas, a meal at a restaurant, a case of beer, six months of 4wheeling mags....

Most people know if they like clear corners or not without having to ask other peoples opinions on a forum, but since 2000runr has asked, he's obviously not sure and wants to hear all the +'s and -'s.
I'm betting he likes them and will get some, and the fact that they are cheap as you have pointed out will certainly help.

the reason i had asked is that i greatly value prior experiences of other members. for example, i had read somewhere in a forum that fit is sometimes wrong, and that the return process was bad with the ebay seller. The purpose of the forum is to get as much info as possible before making a buy, no matter how big or small. luckily the forum is made up of experts in 4runners.

I would definitely purchase a set. IMO its a huge difference and gives our 4Runners a nice clean look. I purchased my set from neodaniels and they fit flawlessly. I also purchased chrome bulbs from Burtman Industries so it finishes the look of the corners.l.

thanks. havent had much luck finding a TJM in the USA anymore, and armorology only does custom to the vehicle i think. anyway, great lookin rigs.

Amber sticks out like a sore thumb and doesn't match anything.. Clear blends in and looks clean. But then again you can always black em out!
