Ok, so today im gonna TRY and put my 2.5 inch spacer lift on! I hope those old rusty bolts don't kick my ass! Wish me luck! I'll post picks as soon as im done.

looks good dude, and ya def get the diff drop for ur runner... not u just need larger tires 265/75/16s perhaps? i dont think ull clear 285s with the 2.5" spacer but i could be wrong; im sure brian knows.

haha, yeah I was able to clear 285s with that lift. Just a very tiny bit of rubbing on the front, but you will almost positively need to get wheel spacers for the front so you don't rub on the upper control arms. The spacers are dirt cheap from here if you decide you want to go to 285/75R16 (33x11s):

Yea, I'm running Kelly Trex 265/70/16, I just bought them like 4 months ago! Sucks! lol Is the Diff Drop easy to do? I forget what brand the spacers are, maybe Daystars...Brian would know. It's 2.5in on the front and the back. It rides softer. I like. But the steering seems a little loose and it pulls to the right now when I brake.
looks good. u planning on bigger tires? im going spacer lift too but cant debate if the 2.5" will make my tires look too small. im running 31x10.5 15s which is roughly the same as 265/70/16. yours look good tho. just bought them amd not planning on buying new ones. am considering the 1.5" daystar spacers because of this reason. i cant decide. any help fellas

make sure u do the diff drop before u get ur alignment tho or ull have to do it again...

Should I let it settle in.....for awhile before the alignment? Or these being just spacers im good to get it done as soon as i do the diff drop?

i think u should be fine but if u want ride without one for about a week but dont go too long without one bc itll mess up the tread on ur tires and shorten its life span.

Respectfully, that's not right. A diff drop won't have any effect on alignment. But you still should do it ASAP, my CVs started throwing grease within hours.

dang well i was hoping to be right, i thought the diff drop was installed with the front coilovers but i guess i was wrong. Sry for misinforming u, i have a 2wd so i didnt have to do this...

With IFS, the diff sorta "floats" under the engine and above the skid plate. It's only bolted in the front with 2 arms that come out (this is where you stick the spacers for the diff drop) The rest of it is kind of suspended by the CVs and the driveshaft. You just take the skid off, take out the 2 bolts, slide the spacers in and the longer bolts, tighten back up and replace the skid. That's it.

Nathan, don't let it trip you out when you go to install the diff drop and it looks like there's not enough room to drop the diff without hitting the frame. The diff only "drops" in the front and the rest just rotates. I looks kind of ineffective when you put it on, but it helped my CVs out a lot actually.

Sounds good, I'm gonna order it Monday. No leaking yet....probably b/c I have small tires.
