You guys suck. I spent all day yesterday wrenching and hurting my elbow. Happy B-day Jay!

Thanks!!

Did you get your 861's in? How are you liking that new power plant? Sorry you missed it, from what I understand of the area we ran part of Cake walk, and all of bullfrog and box canyon. also a bunch of this and that in between.

Errrrrgggggg. No, I didn't get the 861s in. My Dad loaned out his forklift so it wasn't there when I arrived all happy with my new coils in hand. He didn't know I was coming down to put them in so he let his buddy use it for the weekend. And I couldn't find any big rocks or anything around Riverside that would let me flex my junk enough to get these super long coils in.

I did get my new lower links on though, and they are really sweet! No more noise at all and what's crazy is my steering wheel shake on the freeway even seemed to disappear on the way home last night. Not sure why that would make a difference but it drove way smoother. I'm thinking maybe the jolting around from metal on metal made the steering shake at certain speeds?? I dunno.

The new engine runs bad ass. Not a huge jump in power, but still noticeable. My acceleration is way smoother though and it sounds a lot better. I may get a little more power out of it as it breaks in, but I'm stoked even if this is all I get. It feels like a new truck again and it's nice going up the mountain without my tranny having to shift the whole way!

I don't think I've been on Box Canyon yet, have I? Where's that near?

great pictures! love the rail slide. that off camber is wild! were you tripoding on your slider there?

NOPE THAT WAS A LEGITIMATE Almost flop!. I stood on the slider to help have it not flip

It was a great day.We ran quite a bit while we were out there, most of bullfrog, part of cakewalk, box canyon (start of hamerdown) and some extra credit things. It was absolutely beautiful out there. Tee shirt weather.

No you havent been on it. Its before the bullfrog trail head. Its behind the Chicken Rock warm up hill. Im pretty sure its call box canyon, but it is the start of Hammer down, but you just turn around before it gets too hard.

Im soo glad your links are good Brian. The new design is real nice. Plus my welding got better dont you agree? :). No Boogers on the new stuff.

We need to go again soon, Im goin this weekend! (hopefully)

The only carnage from yesterday was some spray paint, and jay's front fender flare took some heat on a rock

Some pics of where i rubbed the rocks. Looks for White areas...
