Doesn't that "V8" sign on the engine cover look very similar to Lincoln's "V8" sign??

i had these pics from way back when. i take it no one notice the tires have "YO" tread blocks on them or something to that effect. im pretty sure this was the original concept of the tundra but dont remember since it was a long time ago. these pics made me want to get a tundra, but they came out with the current tundra and i went blah. also i am uploading 3 more pics of the doors opened and interior shots.

I don't know about anybody else, but that old style of having the gear shifter/automatic shifter on the stearing column is really ugly. I had that on my 84 Buick Regal, and I never want to go back to that style.

that truck is definitely sharp and I'm sure a stock Tundra can be made to look like that...the engine cover looks very Cadillac and the wheels look like F150 SVT wheels.....interior is basically the same except the brushed aluminum and the screen....

the only reason you would have a column shifter is to facilitate a bench seat. just like the avalon has an option for a bench seat, hence the column shift.

i like having the column shift in the Tundra especially in the 03 with the dash to rear seat center console a floor shift would be hella ugly. Even in the 01 with the short console and captains chairs its just as convenient to have the column then to have a ugly shift console..
