Took off the running boards

I took the running boards off my 95 and I noticed that they had dug into my fender.

They are pretty deep and I'm wondering if anyone else encountered this when they took their running boards off. The rubber linings between the plastic and the fender were still on the running boards when I took them off, but it didn't help.

same thing happened to mine when i took them off :/ but your lucky....under mine it is all 6usted out...those plastic things keep falling off bc nothing is there to snap onto. now i gotta go to a body shop and see what i can get done :/ the front is fine but both rears 2 big holes

i took mine off my 95 yesterday and didnt see anything of the sort ??

Who knows. It may be that dirt got inbetween the rubber and body and 15 years of stepping on them rubbed it down. I'm not worried about it though. Just curious if anyone else experienced it.

on further inspection, i have the marks. dam.

simple solution, roll on some bedliner on the bottom 2ft of your rig and presto, scratches fixed and it looks bad a$$.:thumb3:

oh and yes btw i have those scratches too, jus not ass bad
