Took the 5th Gen for cruise after work...

So... took my 4r up a mountain after work today to release some steam. Got to say I love this truck more and more everyday. It surpassed my exceptions yet again. So getting a little cocky with it I decided to test it.

I took an angle at an uphill section to test the rear diff. WoW kind of scary as I started to slide sideways down hill on all four! It did make me think about adding a front diff lock to the truck though. I was also thinking though if I got into trouble with my rear diff, I would most liky flip it with a front diff! he he Still food for thought!

That Black and white shot is simply beautiful! Wow.

You could get a drop hitch and install it upside down to raise the trailer ball 3-4" higher. It's still gonna limit the stock departure angle though since it sticks out past the bumper...Suspension time!

Cheers Antman. I have the OME suspension ready, just trying to find a place and the time to do it. Thought about "trying" to do it myself and discovered quickly I do not have the tools. Four wheels parts offered to install it for $450.00 but then I'm like thats a cost of a winch.

I do have LOTS of mods coming within the next month or so. Will keep posting and try to keep up with you Antman!

As far as the rear bumper, I contacted Warn Industries about the possibility of making a rear bumpber for the fith Gen like they made for the FJ cruiser. They told me that nothing was in the plans to do so. :redbrick::
