if she decide to run the redlight with her kids in the car, who do you think is the more irresponsible one? a guy who put a bumper on his truck to protect his ride or a mom who risk her kid's life to save 20 seconds of commute

Great stuff. I run synthetic on all my winches. Its a solid 20lbs less weight on the front end, very good for our IFS trucks. Biggest is just the use of the stuff, lays flat, easy to handel and if they break (have broke one on the Rubicon but that was really cut on a sharp edge) its allot nicer having 1 lbs of line flying plastic in the air vs. 10 lbs of flying steel!

It was intended to be a joke. I was just having a little fun with the OP, if I offended him or anyone else then I apologize. Though I do have serious concerns about installing what ARB calls in their literature "An absolute battering ram", on the front of a passenger vehicle.Anyone have any crash pics with ARB, ROAD ARMOR bumpers? - Tacoma World Forums

It's a free country, Mr. Nader. Don't start judging what people drive or what they do to their vehicles......that's a slippery slope. I'm sure there's plenty of people who don't like your big gas-guzzling SUV.

If you really have concerns and you understand anything about physics you should be on the 18 wheeler's forums telling them to quit driving on the roads. Putting a steel bumper on our 4Runner is nothing. Our truck: 2.5 tons. 18 Wheeler loaded: 44 tons. You pick. I don't care how much styrofoam and plastic you put on the front when you get hit by a Kenworth. I was the middle of a multi car pileup in NC a few years ago. I got hit by an 18 wheeler and shoved into the back of a Dodge minivan. I'll take a ARB steel bumper on a SUV any day vs a Kenworth.
