pretty cool find... is this from season 14 or 15? Or from an older season? I don't remember watching that particular challenge and I've seen mostly all of the seasons. I agree though -- the US season is getting better as time goes along. I hated watching the first few seasons of Top Gear (U.K. version) just because of that annoying fat guy who doesn't know jack sh!t about cars. When they got Richard Hammond and James May, they got a trio of hosts with great chemistry. I wouldn't be surprised if we were to see the U.S. version go through a couple hosts before they get a better "feel" on the show. It seems a bit awkward now, just as the first few seasons of U.K.T.G.

It's actually the first episode of Season 16. It just aired in U.K. on boxing day (Dec 26th) Lots of us download it from finalgear.com. They normally have them up and available the same day for those of us that can't wait for BBC America to get around to it. I don't understand why it takes them as long as it does. They should air them at the same time as the BBC2. Oh well!

What i dont get is everyone hates American top gear, and yes they are right that its not nearly as good as british top gear, but you are basically pushing away one of the only attempts at a decent car show for television, i dont know about the rest of you but i am fine with whoever wants to make a Car show instead of this stupid reality, murder, and all that other garbage that fills the TV channels.

I don't hate American top Gear. If that was the case I wouldn't sit down and watch it every week. I really like it but my point was just saying the other is better. Some of you may find this interesting- My roomate is an Automotive Journalism major @ Mizzou and he scored an interview with Rutledge Wood for a paper/presentation he had. Took him a lot of time to find the right connections to score it but he got it and Recorded the whole thing and spoke to him for an hr and half on the phone. Pretty cool! I was really jealous.

I'm assuming this was the British version of Top Gear and not the new American version?

Well, I am watching the new Middle East special. Couldn't help but notice their choice in camera car.
