As a lot of you know on April 27 the south, especially Alabama, was hit with the worst outbreak of tornadoes in American history. Alabama had 53 tornoadoes, 7-EF4 & 2-EF5, killing 238 people. It has been absolutely amazing seeing the people across the country giving to those in need.
I have a buddy, Jeff Gill, that has been using his personal truck and enclosed trailer to pick up donated products from Christian Service Mission, and some other places, to help deliver it out into the disaster areas. He is completely doing this on his own without the help of any organizations. He has been out doing this since day one after work and on his days off. He is one of those guys that would give you the shirt off his back, but really is not in the position to. He is married with three kids really is one of the last people that needs to be blowing money on gas, but it is just in his heart to do so. He has pretty much emptied his bank account on gas trying to help those people get items they need.
I am not begging you guys, and really don't like to ask people this, but for this guy and his family would like to see if some of you could help him out. If you wanted to help before, but were not sure how much money would actually be put to use, i can promise that every cent will be put to good use. He has no idea that i am asking people to help because he would never ask for help himself. A dollar, five dollars or whatever would help him to help others. If you would rather send something to the Red Cross or some other charity that would be great too. If you would like to help him, his PayPal address is [email protected]
