Total N00b here!

Hey guys! I am a proud owner of an 87 4-Runner that I know almost nothing about (Long story as to how I got into in, which involves a totaled car, a new business and a loving brother). So I found a couple of forum type places, but as was previously mentioned by another new member, they were kinda dead. So here I am and here's my truck:



So I'll be perusing this site and trying to get as much information as possible before I go making an ass out of myself by posting the same questions every other newb does. Thanks for having me!

Thanks! Its definitely the tallest truck I've ever owned and my first 4x4. I'm usually a small car kinda guy, but for my new business I need a truck and since my Z got totaled I was able to pick this up from my Brother for a modest sum. I cant wait to do a little offroading! Speaking of: Anyone know any good beginner's trails in SoCal?

No, normally in the U.S. there is a 'G' in the center. But I'm not normal so I like to change it up a bit!

Bummer about the Z man. I've had 2 and 1 of them went out like yours. Sad to see such a beauty get taken off the road. You did an excellent job with that one.

Thanks! Funnily enough, the guy who did the body work on it previously just sent me a few pics he took today: its looking mighty nice! I could never have justified paying to have it fixed, but since he owns the shop, he gets a discount, if you know what I mean.
