Tough questions

...because they're tough to admit having to ask, but the answers here are too good to pass up:
1.) What's an uninterruptible engine?
2.) Besides the roof, where else than under the 4Runner ('99 Limited) can I store the spare tire?
I am considering putting the tire into the vehicle, where I would actually be able to get hold of it. (I'm kinda old.No, I AM old.)
3.) Does 4WD also work when backing up? Is there a limit on how far you can back up?

Well, those are enough dumb ones. Any advice is welcome, except "go read the manual" I have the manual and have read it twice....

i have my spare tire in the back and the 4wheel drive does work in reverse im not sure if there is a limit on how far.

I believe the uninterruptible would be synonymous with non-interference so that means that if the timing were to be off, such as a timing belt snap, the pistons would not slap into the valves because they do not share the same space. In an interference engine that space is shared so if the timing is off you would damage the pistons and valves costing a lot of money in repairs.
