Tow hitch removal

Can anyone tell me how to remove the tow hitch from my '94?

I couldn't tell where exactly it is attached with a quick look under there. I just want to remove it because it is rusty and ugly and I never use it and I don't feel like I need to haul around useless weight.

I still want to be able to reinstall it if necessary.

you can repaint it.....someone on the board repainted his frame rails and rear diff. and it came out really nice and clean.

It ~should~ bolt up where the bumper does. Nasty bolts to remove tho. Another thread just discussed the virtues of a product called PB Blaster, a penetrating oil. Good stuff.

Last hitch I removed actually called for a cut-off wheel in a 4 inch grinder. Got it off tho!
