I had to do the same. I believe the one Toyota supplied was for a ball with the larger threads. Also, if you have to use another non-stock tongue, be careful. Most are too long because of the spare tire location. You can use it, but you will need to loosen the spare just a bit to get it to fit. I learned that the hardway.
