Towing a Small Trailer

So i'm towing a small trailer. Literally, small! It's a motorcycle trailer.
Other places I've read to keep overdrive off, but i'm just wondering if I need to do that for such a light load..
Any other input would be great.

Just keep it off. There is no need to have it on towing
