towing capacity

Hay, this ought to be an easy on for someone! I am looking for towing capacity on the third generation t4r 4x4 and does it vary between auto and manual trans?Thx

they say its around 5K pounds... manual/auto should not change that significantly.

lee, does it matter which motor he has? more power should + more towing capacity, no? he is not talking about payload, so the frame is not the variable here. i could be wrong, but i find it hard to believe the 4cyl can tow just as much as the 6cyl.

yes, sorry, im talking about the 3.4 V6... the 4 cyl can tow 3,500lbs.
