Towing Hitch Receiver w/ Ball Mount Kit (TO) missing ball mount

Hi! i have TR4 V6 LE. at the option i have the towing kit (TO) but when i opened the box its only the towing hitch receiver and the clip. where the hell is my ball mount...

I had to puchase the ball for mine. It's not part of the package, plus there is more than one size available.

You can assume that yours is sitting in the parts department as "added profit".


Mine was missing when I got home (v8). I called the salesman and they were happy to get it for me. All I had to do was drive the 60 mile round trip to go pick it up :-(

They don't come with one. Mine didn't. No one else I know had one come with theirs either. Like someone else said, there are different sizes, so even if they provided one, it may not be what you needed. I'm sure that's why they don't come with one.

Sorry, I mis-read. The "ball mount" is the black thing in the picture, and that is included with the v8 4Runners. I don't know about the v6. But none of them come with the ball itself - like everyone said, there are several different sizes to fit your particular trailer.

They don't come with one. Mine didn't. No one else I know had one come with theirs either. Like someone else said, there are different sizes, so even if they provided one, it may not be what you needed. I'm sure that's why they don't come with one.

There should also be a hollow cylinder. The toyota mount is for 1.25" shafts. If the ball you get has a 1" shaft, use the cylinder to compensate.
