Towing in my 4runner

Yesterday I had to pull my boat out of the lake since I going to be selling it. It is a FourWinns 258 Vista. The trailer wieghs about 1500 lbs. The boats dry wieght is 7200 lbs. My tanks were full with 80 gallons of fuel, water, misc stuff on my boat. I had to pull it about 3 miles. I have the V8 4wd. It was alot of wieght for this truck. It was actually very smooth but it was straining pretty hard. I had one incline that I had to come up, I was in 3rd gear, pedal floored and it would not get me over 50 mph. I felt so sorry for my baby when I got home. I dont even remember what the towing rating is on it. I am glad I dont do it very often.
