Towing on a SR5 V6

I have a 05 SR5 V6 2WD with Michelin LTX M/S2 235/80/17. How much PSI should I put for towing 5,200lbs (give or take)? I googled it says 5k max capacity. Would I be fine? Going to pick up a car in FL and tow it back to LA. 13 hr drive.
Let me know your inputs!

More like three 13-hour days of driving. Just be careful and stay under the speed limit. Check the hitch connections and straps every time you stop

With that much weight, I suggest you add a brake controller to help you stop safely.

A car trailer should be balanced to be supporting the majority of the tongue weight, but our trucks I believe are around 600lbs max tongue weight. Tire pressure should be what ever the tire is max rated for, nothing more. I believe the Sr5 chassis can handle 7600lbs towing but the v6 motor/trans combo is max rated for 5000lbs. My buddy tows a 5000lb snowmobile trailer 7 hours upnorth about 10 times a year with no issues (v6). He keeps up on diff and tranny fluid changes though. To be honest with you though for the price of gas and time its not that expensive to have a truck just bring you the vehicle from one of those bidding sites.

FWIW.... I paid $600 recently to haul a car from northern Florida to Michigan.

Appreciate the inputs guys. Drove 850 miles to FL. Car was ready for me to go pick up. Went to U Haul, the guy went check out my 4R to see if the lights work and checked the specs to rent a Full Auto Transport Trailer. Declined me because my receiver hitch was rated at 3,000lbs. Declined me for a car dolly too. My 4R was a red flag in their site as well. Didn't know what to do. So I went to another U Haul place, I told him it was a Tundra. This guy gave me papers to fill out and paid for it before going to check my car out.He also gave me the Full Auto Transport for the price of the car dolly. He went outside and check on it and said, "This is not a Tundra, oh wells, Merry Christmas." Lol. Luckily I was able to get a trailer. Hauled the car with ease, but tranny was smelly. 42 Psi had made the ride swerve a bit. So I aired it up to 55 PSI and made the towing smooth.

Let me get this straight.... So you not only exceeded the maximum tow rating of the vehicle, but when you brought it to Uhaul, they told you that your hitch was only rated to 3000lbs. So instead of taking their advice and not pulling it yourself and exceeding the weight limit of your hitch by over 2000lbs, you go to another Uhaul and lie and say you have a Tundra to get them to rent it to you? And then you drove 850 miles like that? Vehicle tow ratings are there for a reason, and hitch ratings are also there for a HUGE reason. This might be the textbook definition of reckless driving.

Ouch.... He had a mission was not going to let some idiot at Uhaul stop him.
I was in this situation once and opted to pay a buddy to drive my Mustang vs towing it. He helped me lug furniture which I towed behind 4Runner too..

Definitely would be careful towing that close to your max right. 5000lbs translates heavier as you start up an incline, and going back down you can quickly exceed your ability to brake and stop the load.

I once moved a metal lathe that was estimated to be just under my vehicles max weighting. It was a flat drive, so was very comfortable pushing those limits.

Months later turns out the thing weighed 8000lbs, not 5000lbs :/
