Towing questions, need some advice

OK all- I did a search and didn't find what I needed, so here goes.
I am looking to tow quite a bit this summer. It won't be real heavy (occasionally I will tow my friend's trailer that weighs almost 5k lbs) most of the time but I want to be safe and preserve my vehicle as much as possible.
I just picked up a hayden cooler, will install that as soon as it warms up outside.
I am looking for a better hitch, a WD setup but also something a bit stronger since I will be near the max capacity of my current hitch (I want one that bolts to next frame rail instead of just the last rail). I can't seem to find the Hidden everyone was installing, 70411, so I would like some advice on a hitch model that is capable of what I described. Just share your model hitch and your experiences with installation, performance, ect.
My last inquiry is about air bags. I know nothing about them at all. Please share models and installation and performance information.
Thanks in advance everyone. :help:

I can't comment on changing the reciever on the truck I run the stock reciever to tow my 21ft Jayco camper or is it 19 ft I can't recall right now but I know the weight is 4,700lbs after my wife puts her junk in the rig (stuff we never use camping by the way).

Anyway I can say the trans cooler is a great idea and I would have to say I would not install the air bags I would run a (Weight Distrubution Hitch) or WDH. When used it will bring the ass end of
the truck up to normal hight.

Also make sure you run a Friction brake from the hitch block to the camper that you tighten by hand this will cut down on the camper sway by WIDE margin.
