Towing with a 97 2.7

My buddy and I are going fishing this weekend, but the truck he uses to tow the boat is broken. It's a pretty small boat (16ft aluminum), and its only about 600 pounds including trailer. I have a stock auto 97, 185k 2.7L, with new brakes (ceramic pads), and newer tires. Is there anything I should worry about when towing such a small amount?

I might be taking the trip a few times and its about 90 miles away, so I want it to last longer than one trip.

You will be fine, turn overdrive off climbing hills if it's an auto, just like having 3 fat girls riding with you.
