Ok I searched through all the threads to see if I could find some pics of how you guys were running your wiring?

I was thinking either out through the pocket by the shifter where the 12V plug is....

Or up through the cup holder pocket...

Or through the pocket in front of the arm rest....

You guys have any pics of where you ran yours, or even an explanation so I can get some ideas.....:biggrin2:

I removed my sat radio and Toy 03 AUX from my 2004 so took pics in case of some confusion when re-installing in my 2005. From the attached photo, you can see the aux in, and the wires for the satellite radio coming out when in the area of the cupholders. Hopes this helps.

I have just the right length of wire coming out under the center console, right on top of the carpet but below the plastic console trim, on the passenger side, back where the passenger seat rail front bolt is. I tuck the wire back out of sight between the pass. seat and console when not in use.
(Sorry, can't take a pic right now.)

And Kmvreter, I was thinking of doing that exactly as you explained. Because when your not using it you can tuck up and out of the way.

When you use it does it ever get in the way of your shifter.

I have my wire run into the compartment under the ac controls. Just used my roto tool to notch the plastic a bit around where the screw goes (upper left area of the opening). When not in use the cord stores easily in the compartment. I got the idea from http://www.toyota120.com/ look under tech write ups.

No issue with shifter. I place the Nuvi up near the 4way flasher button so the wire goes down and back on the passenger side. The Nuvi power cord does come around the back of the shifter for now (I may or may not clean this up with another power port, again on the pass. side.)
I wish I could take a photo because this typing sucks... Literally, a picture is worth a thousand words in this case.

I like the idea of running the wires into the pocket behind the cup holders. The only thing I'll have to see is if it will interfere with the cup holders, because we usually put the ipod in the pocket where the 12V plug is located. I'm thinking I may drill a hole and try to run it into there.....whatever I decide, I'll have pics and I appreciate all the help.
