Good looking bumper. Unique design. How do you secure the swing-a-way tire gate when it is closed. I can't quite see what you have going on there.
Did you get all the install parts at the dealer? If so, what did they run you? I'm in the process of gathering the install parts.

x2! bumper looks really good!!! where did you get the hinge for the swing out? more info on securing the swing out when closed.
Believe it or not the hinge was just laying around in my buddys shop its a little overkill for just a tire but hey it was FREE. And for the swing out its a 1/2 coarse thread bolt with a 3/8 socket extension welded on. the bolt goes through the swing out arm and there is a welded bolt on the bumper.it was a great idea but after living with it a while its a pain in the butt. i recently bought the southco latch a few other member on here have used.
what parts are you referring to? i did buy a few parts from TRDParts4U i bought a dynamic tensioner, sc belt, TRD TB gasket, and check valve. i think i paid 300 for all of that with shipping.
Yeah I meant those. What are you doing about the other install parts? Looks like you are missing some brackets and screws.
Damn those 851s flex like crazy!
looks like fun! can't wait to get my junk on the trail!!!
from your avatar pic your build looks like its going to be a really cool one!
i will SAS one day... some day.
thanks! so far everything seems to be coming together ok. got a few little odds and ends to tidy up. now if i can just figure out how to tell my wife i need to dump another $2000 on my dual transfer case setup i'll be in good shape! lol!!!
it's funny, she freaked when she saw how much i spent building my '88 toy but never complained when she was behind the wheel. my dad always said "it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission". that being said, i'll be placing my order with Marlin on the down low and deal with the consequences afterwards. a week or two sleeping on the couch and it'll be water under the bridge!:behindsofa:
