I think Toyo is a sister company of Nitto. Just like Bridgetone -Firestone.
By looking at the tire IMO,Toyo AT is Nitto Tera G minus the "lightning":)

Although the companies are related, the tires are a little different. The Toyos use a lot more siping for year round traction, including sipes in the tread area for better snow traction. Both are tough all terrain tires, with good feedback from owners.

I ran two sets of the Toyo's on my old Trooper. I loved them. They ran 45k+, stuck in the rain to the end and held balance very well. I say 45k+, know that I change tires a bit early.

I ran two set of these on my old 4runner and I will be running them again when the Dunflops are burnt.
