Toyo Open Country vs. Nitto Terras

So I got a good deal on a set of ProComp AT's back a little over a year ago, and now they are needing replacing. This set has the beads all screwed up and the tires basically aren't round anymore, so I am going to replace them. I have a couple questions about the Nittos vs. the Toyos. I can get them for very similar prices here, within $30 of each other for the set of four. Also, I am looking for input from anyone, but especially anyone who has run both tires.

1) Which offers better ride quality and comfort (road noise, etc.)?

2) Which offers better off road traction?

3) Which do you prefer in water and snow?

4) Any very strong likes or dislikes for either?

Thanks in advance guys. I am pretty disappointed about the ProComps. They had good grip overall and were awesome in snow, but I gotta get rid of them before they shake the life out of me and my suspension.

I have the nitto terras, and I personally think they ride hard. You can feel every bump in the road. I haven't been off-road yet. No road noice though. But, I think I need new shocks now to compensate the hard ride on the tires.

I have the Nittos but the OCs are supposedly similar in construction and tread pattern. Yes,they do ride hard a bit on pavement (I have D load rated version) but they have very solid grip on dry pavement and very decent wet weather manners and good rearend control in the snow even in 2wd.

Off road I've had no issues over the last two summers and they resist rock rash quite well too.

The Nittos finally offer a 50k treadwear warranty too.

I assume that you mean Toyo Open Country ATs. They are the sister/brother of Nittos TG...same parent company, same technology, just slightly different tread design. You can't go wrong with either...and they should ride identical.
