Toyota 4Runner good to sleep in?

then you give up head room, which is also bad for tall people, lol, personally i'm not that bothered about head room myself as if i'm making my bed i tend to want to lie down instead of sit up, so headroom issue is kinda null for me, i've been debating on making another sleeping platform that's shorter but am not too bothered.

I am 6'3" and my wife 5'10" I never was really concerned with the platform and headroom. However if she wants to get on top of me then there will be no room for her head. I am now seriously considering not building a platform because who just wants headroom???

I've slept in the cargo area while my GF slept across the back seat - it was just a day trip so I worked a 14 hour shift then headed up Ohio for the Mopar Nationals - had to stop and sleep a couple hours back there. I was curled up like a dog (I'm 6'1) and it was doable -

If you plan on multiple nights and long trips I would pack light and sleep with the seats down
