Toyota 4runner Led Halo Projector Headlights

I like them, but are the 3 LEDs up top are they hooked to the parking lights? turn signals?

I still think i would like these better if they weren't there at all. Instead just the 1 longer lens above the lights.

I did wire them to the parking lights as well as the halos. The wires for the 3 leds can just be left unplugged or you could wire them to a separate switch if you wanted. There is separate wiring for the 3 leds as well as each halo so you can wire it up however you like which is nice.

Keep us posted on how they hold up (do the LEDs last, fogging, etc)

I might have to put those on my 'to buy' list

do you have an 06/07 or 03-05 4Runner?

I have a 05 model. I cant see there being problems with fogging because there are many vent holes in the back. The reason for this as I see it is because of the leds and the heat from the halogen bulbs. The OEM are sealed and the leds I had in the parking signal started to malfunction after about 6 months. I shouldnt have to worry about them though when I get the HIDs due to the lower heat output.

One thing that would need to be watched for is submerging the front end in water up to the lights.

Actually they are H1 and they plug into the existing harness on the 4runner no modification required. I ordered 2 sets of 9006 hids and its a good thing my seller had not shipped them due to the bulbs being H1. Just a heads up on that.

Looks sweet. The price is right - for projectors that fit with no additional mods or parts in an 03-05.

Well I received the headlights yesterday and after a couple hours of work they are installed and looking FREAKING AWESOME IMHO! I know most people are not a fan of ricer items but I really love these lights. No real fitment issues to talk about other than a slight 1-2mm gap at the bottom of the light between it and the little fascia pieces. Its really negligible and I barely even noticed it. I managed to get the headlights aimed quite easily and I am still waiting for my HID's to come in. When they do I will post up more pics. SO now for the much anticipated pics..........

These actually use a H1 bulb in both the high beam and the low beam. This is a warning in case you have 9006 HIDs and would like to buy these.

I have hids 9006 what's the warning if I were to purchase these?

Those look sick, they will look even better with the HID installed. :rocker:

Looks good. It seems to be that those "hot" spots are from high beams. Am I right?

Could you make couple shots on emty parking lot or country road showing "real life" beam pattern on low and then high beams?

The bulb type in the high beam and low beam for these headlights is H1. You would need to get the H1 bulbs.

I will when I get the HIDs AlexJet. The hot spots are the regular low beam. I think it may be because I am so close to the wall in the picture. I think my camera is exaggerating the hot spot as well because it is not that that defined in real life.

Low beams??? Wow, something unusual...

HIDs are nice, but if you make the shots with halogen lights it will be great too. Another thing is with halogen bulbs images we can compare the beam pattern to the stock housings and it's intensively to original lights. This should be VERY INTERESTING.

That is the bulb that is used in these headlights. There is a harness that comes off the new headlights and plugs directly into the existing harness for the 9006 bulb.
