Toyota and 4Runner did it again...

Once again, the Consumer Reports predicted-reliability survey gave the 4Runner the highest ranking.

"Almost half of the top 31 -- 15 vehicles -- were manufactured by Toyota."

GOOD for US i say. But, im pretty suprise to see Honda Ridgeline (a first year truck for Honda) ranked so high up on the report.

I test drove just about every mid-sized sport ute out there, and nothing compares to the 4Runner.....nothin'. I have owned ALOT of vehicles over the last decade and a half, and have not enjoyed any vehicle more than this one. It just does everything right! Consumer reports hit it right on the head:bash:

I do love my 4runner for what it's capable of but there are much more fun cars out there to drive. Even more fun when they come with just 2 wheels .

Ok, I did own a Corvette that was nice. But, it wasnt as refined and didnt have as good of a ride (of course). Bottom line, my Sport V8 is a corvette with 4X4 and bulletproof reliability. Does it get any better than this?

I'd love to see some pictures of the Tahara plant in Japan. It would be cool to see some 4Runners being assembled, but I guess even Toyota would keep some of their assembly line secrets a secret.

As far as a mid-sized SUV, there's definitely nothing better than a 4runner. I test drove all but the Nissan Pathfinder. I still miss my M3 but that's why I got a bike so it doesn't sting too badly .
