At what mileage/year did you guys replace your battery?

It's too bad with the Japanese built T4R, you can't get a Panasonic battery like the OME.

5 years and 10 months.

Changed with a walmart battery at roughly 92K miles.

I keep my 4runner outside

Are you saying you can't buy the Panasonic OEM battery even if you buy it from the Toyota dealer parts department? I could have sworn I had bought the OEM replacement battery for my RAV4 (made in Japan) a few years ago from the dealer, but my memory is fading.

I haven't looked, but that's what I've been reading from others here. The dealer does have a TrueStart battery that matches specs of the OE Panasonic.

I replaced mine after 7 years, 83,000 miles. It still worked fine, but was leaking a bit around one of the terminals. Canadian 4Runners (at least mine) don't come with a Panasonic battery. They come with a Toyota battery generally better suited to our climate (850 CCA, 140 min RC). I replaced mine with an Interstate, which has the same specs as the Panasonic (710 CCA, 165 min RC). Since I live in an unusually warm part of Canada that doesn't get below freezing I opted for more reserve capaticy over cold cranking amps.
