Toyota Brush Guard

I am looking for opinions on this brush guard. The cheap OEM plastic one finally cracked to the point of no return and I want to replace it with something new up front. I hear people saying powder coated bars rust but want opinions on it anyway.

Here is the description. It looks to be a Toyota part and has a 12 month warranty. I know that isn't much but does anyone know if any of this is true?

yup...this is the brush guard that i have on my '03...i love it...it has saved me a ton of knicks and dings from horrible parallel parkers in baltimore city...feel free to click the link in my signature to see my 4runna...
 
the only problem with that bar is that it doesn't have any holes for aux. lights.

Try a T&H bar like on Bobby's or a safari bar like mine
 
Is that a Toyota branded/sold WAAG bar? It looks like a WAAG.

westin. It mounts easy as hell, and can house my big piaas. The only reason i didn't get the T&H was that the opening for the lights is very small.

But the T&H is more sturdy, b/c it mounts not only on the bottom of the bumper, but through the grill.

IMHO i like the westin

You have a Titanium just like me so I got the perfect idea of what it would look like. Does it feel like it is securely mounted? Any rust spots? I found it shipped for $260 and figured you couldn't beat it. I don't do any real offroading so it is more for just looks.

On a side note I saw you lived in Central Jersey... I grew up in North Brunswick and lived in that area till July when I moved out here.

I don't know which bar you have but I found a stainless T&H bar I like. Where is a good place to order one? Also, MD4Runner.... since yours has been tapped a few times are there a lot of scratches?

mine is a westin safari bar. def can take a car bumping into me, cuz it has happened and nothing happend to the bar. Their bumper is a diff story. I also have the rear bumper guard as well, and it saved my bumper in NY a while ago from an efing taxi.

Did your bar get scratched at all? If I lived in/near the city I would have one on the rear too.
 
The rear didn't even show a scratch b/c on the bar itself it has bumper pads made of hardened plastic. the hood of the taxi got pushed in, and nothing happened toi the bumper
