Toyota bug/hood deflector

I was wanting some feedback on the bug deflector from Toyota. It will go on an 06 SE V-8. The dealer is to install it next week.
Does anyone recommend it, or is there another brand that works better. We take alot of road trips, and I would like to minimize rock chips, etc.
There was a thread that said the bug deflector made the hood shake. Not something I want cruising down the interstate.

I had a Toyota bug shield hood protector on my 2006 4Runner and had no problems with it making the hood shake. I liked it so much that I put one on my 2008 4Runner.

I'm sure you'll hear from other forum members on their preferences. There are also quite a few threads that discuss the various bug shields. Good luck!

Mine works fine, doesnt cause any additional noise or vibration. The only problem I had was a couple of the rubber grommets broke that attach the brackets under the hood. I replaced them myself and havent had any problem since.
