Toyota Camo Wraps

Has anyone worked with material like this before Camoclad Outlet Camo4u - Home of the Camoclad Outlet, Camo Bug Shields, Camo Truck Kits, Camo Wraps, Camoclad Vinyl Accent Kits - I am looking at doing a full wrap on the 4-Runner. Just curious to see if I can do it myself or will have to pay someone...

i've seen a wrap exactly like that on a 2nd gen a while back looked real nice but I can't say i've worked with the material.... if you are confident you can do it, go for it! But me, I would have someone wrap it for me. I know I'd screw it up lol.

I own and operate a large format graphics and wrap shop. We train professionally and a good installer will have a minimum of a Certification from Fellers or 3M. I can tell you that the end result lies in the prep work. You would be surprised how much prep work there is to accomplish a wrap.

Well, they've sold the vehicle a while back...but basically, it was a LC in a 'realtree' type wrap.

I know when I was looking to wrap a Yukon XL they were going to charge me by the square foot. It was going to be around $3K, so I think that a 4R would be around $2500

man, this stuff is so cool. Too bad it costs just as much as a good paint job to install.

someone here did a matte silver wrap on a 4th gen that came out really nice. I think he had a buddy who does it for a living and installed it for him, but if memory serves correct, it would have been about $3k-$4k for average joes to have done.

The cost of install for something like this is a huge deterrent for me.

Most of these camo wraps are about 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of a paint job....

But in inclement climates I heard only about a 3-5 year lifespan and if you off road how do they handle brushes with the local foliage.
