If by chance we are fortunate enough to have Toyota Corporate visit our forum. A thread for what we would like to see on future 4Runner's should be started.

My suggestion would be the more advanced V8 engine that is going to be in the new Tundra. Dual VVTI with sequential fuel injection is at the top of my wish list.

I will be purchasing a new 07 model as soon as possible. It is too late into the 4th generation to see any significant changes. However those lucky enough to be purchasing the 5th generation model may benefit from this thread.

My choice would be to keep this a true off road SUV it seems the 4th gen has slid away from that slightly,but still a very capable off roader. Please don't turn this into anymore of a soccer mom or yuppie style SUV....there are plenty of those to pick from already.

I would buy a new model in a heart beat if it sat up and had the stance of the Tacoma TRD , and locking rear diff. , but then it probably be competing with the FJ.

Anyway maybe a section forum stated Future 4Runners and Toyota Corp. news.
