Toyota CV Boot repair kit Help!!!

Hey guys i picked up my CV boot Kit today from the dealer and there are 2 diffrent tubes of grease inside one is yellowish and one is black which one do i use on which joints? any ideas?

Mine only had the yellowish, thats what I used.

jus kidding. the inner boots use the yellow grease. the outer boots use the black grease. i did mine a couple weeks ago. a little messy but im glad i saved money and kept my oem axles. they dont even look worn after 100k miles. have fun!

Thanks bud i was thinking same thing but wanted to be sure as my inner boot is the one ripped and leaking grease. the outer one is still fine but im replacing it as well. is it just me or is the inner boot feel more hard and plastic like as if it would break.

i noticed the harder plastic outer boot too. but i dont think itll break or rip. i hope these last another 100k. haha.
