Got an email the other day from Toyota inviting me to take their "Durability Product Quality Survey".
Kind of surprised me that they sent one of these out for a vehicle that is pushing 5 years old.
Then again their emial did say "The purpose of this survey is to measure and better understand long-term vehicle quality and durability.
By surveying owners of different model year vehicles we can better understand how different model vehicles perform over time and use this information to continually improve the long-term quality and durability of our vehicles."
Finally got around to taking it last night. The survey was 10 pages long and went over all aspects of the vehicle including very specific areas and components.
Given all the components and areas in the survey my 4Runner faired pretty well.
I have two issues with my 4Runner that I mentioned in the survey which appear fairly common among 4Runners (alloy wheel & frame rust).
After owning numerous Volkswagens for the last 29 years and not hearing a single peep from VW, getting such a survey from Toyota was a nice surprise.
So, has anyone else here filled out one of these surveys in the last few years?
